    Claude Code

    Install skills for Claude Code, select --tool claude, and check skills and plugins in the session.

    #Claude Code destination

    When the target is claude, each skill is written to ~/.claude/skills/<skill.name>/. The ~ symbol represents the directory used by the CLI; set MALETA_CLI_HOME when you need to override it.

    #Install a selection

    1. Validate the manifest

      bash
      maleta validate --file ./maleta.json

    2. Simulate the installation

      bash
      maleta install --file ./maleta.json --tool claude --dry-run

    3. Apply to Claude Code

      bash
      maleta install --file ./maleta.json --tool claude

    The --tool claude flag overrides targetTool only for that run; it does not rewrite the manifest. The shared folder is automatically added to the plan when there is a valid built-in skill.

    #Plugins and the session

    Plugins apply to Claude Code. The CLI can run claude plugin marketplace add <repo> and claude plugin install <id>. After installation, restart your session and use /skills or /plugins to check the result.
